We now have a newer version of the software that no longer requires the product key. Once installed, it will automatically authenticate the drive you are using.
To Install the new version of WD Anywhere Backup:- Download the latest version:
- Uninstall the old version from your computer.
- Reboot your computer.
- Unzip the new version of WD Anywhere Backup using an unzip program like Winzip.
- Install the software.

- Trial Version Software Only - My Book Essential, My Passport Essential (The newer version of software will not authenticate the My Book Essential drive. A license key must be purchased from Memeo to use the software after the 30 Day Trial has expired.)
Memeo AutoSync: We do not provide a product key for Memeo AutoSync. Memeo AutoSync is a 30 day trial version software, and you will need to purchase it from Memeo in order to obtain a product key.
